Day of Mongolian Pride celebrated in Czech Republic

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Embassy of Mongolia in the Czech Republic has held a reception for the Mongol studies Czech scholars, teachers and students of Department of Southern and Central Asian Studies at the Charles University in Prague, on occasion of the 853rd birth anniversary of Chingis Khaan--the Day of Mongolian Pride.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Czech Republic D.Zumberellham presented a new book named “Ethics of Chingis Khaan--Legal book”, and ran open discussion with the gathered about legal ideology, ethics and characteristics of Mongolians.

The Center of Mongol Studies reported that it intends to publish “Mongolica” research volumes and a book “Mongolian history” in Czech language with a support from the Mongolian Embassy, dedicating them to the 65th anniversary of the Mongolia-Czech diplomatic relations.

Mr Zumberellham also thanked the students and teachers for contributing to the development of Mongol studies, and presented them books and materials on the latest information about Mongolia.
