Cabinet meeting in brief
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ By the cabinet's decision on Monday, S.Mendsaikhan has been appointed the head of the General Authority of Registration and Statistics, and S.Purev--the acting head of the General Authority of Customs and Taxation.
- Ts.Purevdorj was freed from the post of head of the State Registration Office; D.Bekhbat and N.Enkhtsogt--from posts of deputy heads of the General Customs Office; and Ts.Nanzaddorj--from a post of head of the State Property Committee.
- A building owned by the General Customs Office will be transmitted to ownership of the General Council of Court. The Minister of Finance B.Bolor was obliged to organize this work.
- The cabinet approved a Mongolia-Brazil intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the education sector.
- The Minister of Environment, Green Development and Tourism N.Battsereg was authorized to perform duties reflected in a Mongolia-Kuwait intergovernmental memorandum on cooperating in environment saving through the Mongolia-Kuwait Research Center.
- The cabinet authorized B.Altangerel, the Ambassador of Mongolia to the USA to make negotiations on returning to Mongolia smuggled fossil skeletons of dinosaur and to sign related contract with the U.S. side.
- The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren reported about participation of the Deputy PM Ts.Oyunbaatar as an observer in the 14th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Governments (Prime Ministers) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in December of 2015 in Zhengzhou of China.
- The Deputy PM and acting Minister of Health and Sport Ts.Oyunbaatar reported final results of a national programme on environmental health, approved in 2005. He was ordered to approve and realize a plan on monitoring the health affected by environment and resolving problems.
- Head of the Cabinet Secretariat for Government S.Bayartsogt reported about works of the cabinet done in 2015. He was obliged to make a plan of the governmental works for this year.
- The cabinet approved Mongolia-Turkey intergovernmental agreements on cooperating in military training and in the finance for military sector.
- The cabinet approved results of the 16th meeting of the Mongolia-EU Joint Committee held on December 11 of 2015 in Brussels, Belgium. An obligation was given to S.Bayartsogt, head of the Cabinet Secretariat and head of the Joint Committee for the Mongolian side.
