Our sculptors take first three places at int’l festival
Art & CultureUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian artists have successfully competed in the 5th international ice sculpture festival which ran in Chinese Harbin December 30-January 4.
This festival attracted 45 sculptors from six countries. Mongolia was represented by 15. The gold medal went to a sculpture called “Mother” by our team comprising D.Tserenbat, B.Dorjnamjil and Kh.Khatanbaatar, and silver and bronze medals--to sculptures named “Wind” and “Combat” by other Mongolians. A special prize has been given to the Italian team.
