“Biodiversity 2015” photo contest announced
Art & CultureUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia’s Bird Watching Community and the Ministry of Environment, Green Development and Tourism has announced a year-round photo contest themed “Biodiversity 2015”. Photographers can submit their creations shot in 2015 and 2016.
The contest aims to pave the way for photographer to specialize in natural photography, immortalize the ecosystem in photographs and help preserve the environment through beautiful images.
The contest is open to all photographers and amateurs of any age, and will create a “Mongolian Biodiversity” web database with the selected photos.
Deadline for submission is May 10 of 2016. Photographs are accepted through mongoliabiodiversity@gmail.com or official mailing addresses of the organizers.
Best photographs will be challenged in nominations: (1) wonderful moment and speed, (2) rare plants and animals, and (3) smart technology and biodiversity.
Initially, 100 best photographs will be selected and granted cash prizes.
