Ambassador to Russia presents diplomatic credentials
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation Ms B.Delgermaa Wednesday presented her diplomatic credentials to the President of Russia Mr Vladimir Putin.
At the meeting held after the meeting, the Russian President Mr Putin congratulated Ms Delgermaa on presenting the credentials and expressed his satisfaction with the Russia-Mongolia long-year, friendly neighborhood and strategic partnership relations. He underlined an importance of realizing the middle-term programme on the strategic partnership which has been established recently during an official visit of the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Mongolia.
Mr Putin pointed out that he will continue talks on the bilateral relations with the Mongolian President Ts.Elbegdorj during a forthcoming high-level meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to be held this June in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He added that a trilateral meeting of the Presidents of Russia, Mongolia and China has been scheduled to run.
The Ambassador of Mongolia Ms Delgermaa conveyed greetings of the Mongolian President to Mr Putin, and invited him to take part in the 11th ASEM Summit to be held in July in Ulaanbaatar.
Ms Delgermaa said she will do all her best to intensify the traditional and friendly relations with Russia in all levels and to deepen the bilateral cooperation.
