International Artists Day marked with with participation of 200 artists

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian artists marked ‘International Artists Day’ with participation of over 200 famous Mongolian artists on April 6 at the Blue Sky. Starting from this year, Mongolian artists are widely celebrating the day.
Spiritual teacher Ching Hai so-called Supreme Master declared April 3 as International Artist Day to honor and celebrate all artists.
Dedicating to the event, Supreme Master Ching Hai extended a greeting in which stated that artists are close to enlightenment because of their positive and optimistic characteristics. Artists around the world spread happiness, love and joy to the people. She also expressed her hopes that the number of people who feel, understand and support art will be multiplied.
Present at the events were representatives of singers, actors, painters, contortionists, calligraphers, dancers, sculptors, arts advocates and presented their creations.
State Prize Laureate, People’s Actress of Mongolia N.Suvd said that where artists work harder, there will be fewer wars. Thanks to Supreme Master Ching Hai, artists are marking the day of International Artist on April 3 every year and presenting their work to the audience throughout the world. It is a kind of event which encourages and motivates artists to create more works.
Afterward, State Honored Actor B.Jargalsaikhan said, “We artists celebrate many occasions. However, there is no place in which honors artists and receives them as honored guests like saints”, then he expressed his gratitude to Supreme Master Ching Hai.
