'5ive Tones-2' to show traditional and electronic musical instruments combination again

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ulaanbaatar Ensemble will perform a concert ‘5ive Tones-2’ on April 20-21 at UB Ensemble Event Hall.
In 2016, the ensemble had successfully staged the ‘5ive Tones’ concert, combining traditional and electronic musical instruments. The revised versions of well-known, popular songs and classical music were performed at the concert.
This year, the ensemble will perform with a new staff of musicians including horse headed fiddle by State Foremost Artist A.Mungun, great (big) fiddle by State Foremost Artist B.Erkhembayar, zither by I.Egelkhand, yoochin (dulcimer) by Ch.Maral-Od and shanz (lute) by B.Gereltuya. The ‘Khangarid’ traditional music orchestra and dancers of the UB Ensemble will perform.
Genres including rock/pop, classic, modern and folk music will be played at the concert.
