Best works of the ‘Free space’ project on display

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The ‘Free space’ project to support young and freelance artists initiated by the Government implementing agency Department of Arts and Culture is being implemented for the second year jointly with the Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery.
In the first year of the project, an exhibition involving more than 30 contemporary artists was organized jointly by Hunnu Shopping Mall and the Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery. This year, a prize exhibition is being organized among all freelance artists under 35. Over 40 artists participated in the project and 20 works were selected for the exhibition.
A work titled ‘The light momentum’ by B.Batjin won the first place, followed by ‘Smoke’ by E.Bilguutei and ‘Wheel of return’ by E.Biligt respectively. The artists were awarded with a seven-day exhibition certificate at the Art Exhibition Hall of the Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery.
The exhibition will run until April 30.
