Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Mongolian ethnic children and fashion designers took part in Adorable Costume Fashion Festival on May 21-22 at Mongolian Children’s Palace in Ulaanbaatar. The festival aims to promote the cultural heritage of world Mongols welcoming Kalmyk, Tuvan and, Buryat young models and designers from Russian Federation and Tungus and Buryat kids from Inner Mongolia, PRC. On the second day, the children demonstrated designer collections and children’s wear in the fashion parade.

Six-year-old Batsukhiin Aminzul from Khulunbuir province, Inner Mongolia says in perfect Buryat dialect that not only she has been to Chingghis Khaan Statue complex, but also has had an opportunity to have photos taken on Ulaanbaatar’s main square. Her coeval Loila Mongush from Tuva describes her experience in Mongolia as being very exciting. She likes the most a playground and high-rises around her hotel where she stays during the festival. “I have not seen angry faced people here, but many people smoke on the streets” noted Loila. The girls are sure they will come back to Mongolia.

The children’s fashion festival has prize pool of MNT 15 million and best designers and manufacturers were selected based on their creativity and authenticity of the design while young models for their ambling on the fashion podium in cute little numbers.
