Mongolia promoted abroad through Unbound Cycle exhibition
Art & Culture
Ulaanbaatar
/MONTSAME/ Landscape photographer Kh.Sergelenbat has recently mounted his solo
exhibition ‘Unbound Cycle’ in Switzerland and Germany.
The
exhibition presenting the magnificent wild landscapes, globally and locally
endangered wild animals, and rare plant species of Mongolia was staged jointly
with the Mongol
Ger Society in Basel and
AMSR (Association Mongolie Suisse Romande) in Lausanne, Switzerland and Mr. Baasanjargal, a
Mongolia expat in Freiburg, Germany.
In his remarks at the opening ceremony, Ambassador of Mongolia to Switzerland L.Purevsuren said, “Mongolians and Swiss have traveled through the beautiful nature of Mongolia and enjoyed wildlife photos and videos at this exhibition. Mongolian children growing up abroad rarely have the chance to visit their home country. Thus, thank you for giving this great feelings and impression to Mongolians abroad.”
Having thought that every person shall have shared dreams and goals at this time when climate change is challenging people, Director of the Photo Life studio Mr. Sergelenbat embarked on the ‘One World project and organized the exhibition under that project.
He said, “The
exhibition visitors pleasantly enjoyed the power of the nature and wildlife
photographs. Some Mongolian expats said they felt as if they went to their
mother country, taking pride in it, and that they have decided to travel in the
beautiful nature of Mongolia next summer. A Swiss said he is preparing for a
trip to Mongolia from today, remarking the photos truly gave off lively vibes.
Residents of the Freiburg, globally known as the green city, noted that it is very intellectual of Mongolians to preserve this beautiful nature in the way it has been over hundreds of years”
The ‘One
World’ project team members are planning to bring the exhibition to the United
States and Japan.
