Ambassador D.Davaa meets Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation D.Davaa met the Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation V.A.Tokarev on February 9.
Present at the meeting were First Deputy Managing Director of the Russian Railways S.A.Pavlov, officials from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Transport, a diplomat in charge of economic affairs of the Embassy of Mongolia in Russia, as well as the representatives of Ulaanbaatar Railways JSC.
Briefing on the activities of the Ulaanbaatar Railway JSC carried out in 2020 and its projects and programs, Deputy Minister V.A.Tokarev presented the works planned to be done in the future.
In his turn, Ambassador D.Davaa pledged to convey suggestions and requests put forth by the Russian side regarding the current issues and future planning of the company to the relevant ministries and agencies of Mongolia, while expressing his commitment to provide all round support to the deepening of cooperation in the railway sector.
