Mongolian dancers receive prizes at the international dance competition

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The International United Cloud Dance
Competition (IUCDC) was organized online under the patronage of the United
Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to promote
dance art. More than 1000 artists from 16 countries participated in the
competition, which lasted over two months online, and winners were announced on
February 12.
In the international competition, Mongolian dancers from
Ulaanbaatar city, Zavkhan, Dornogobi and Darkhan-Uul aimags successfully
participated and won 4 gold, 4 silver, 2 bronze medals and special prizes in the
categories of world folk dance junior, pre-junior and senior, group world folk
dance, contemporary dance junior, and group ballet.
Head of the Mongolian Ballet Development Foundation and
Honored Artist of Mongolia D. Altankhuyag was one of the judges of the
international competition.
