Warm temperatures expected for the next few days

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Warm temperatures are expected in most parts of the country in the coming few days, reports the National Agency of Meteorology and Environment.

 

Showers and thunderstorms are expected in most parts of the country tomorrow on August 31, in some parts of western and central aimags, southern parts of eastern aimags, and eastern parts of Gobi aimags on September 1, in northern parts of western aimags, in some parts of central and Gobi aimags, and in most parts of eastern aimags on September 2, and in most parts of western and central aimags, and in some parts of eastern aimags on September 3.

 

Wind speed will be 5-10 m/sec during most times, reaching 13-15 m/sec in mountainous areas on September 2, and in the Gobi and plains on September 3.

 

In the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentii, in the head of Zavkhan, near Khurenbelchir, and in the basins of Ider, Tes, and Terelj rivers, the temperature will range from +1 to +6 degrees Celsius during the night, and +15 to +20 during the day.

 

In the Orkhon-Selenge basin and in the southern Gobi region, the night-time temperature will be +12 to +17 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be +25 to +30 degrees Celsius.

 

In other areas, temperatures are expected to be +7 to +12 during the night, and +20 to +25 during the day. Temperatures are expected to drop in the country’s northern region on September 3.
