Amartugs Amgalan Elected as Executive Director of the MNCCI
EconomyUlaanbaatar, January 14, 2025 /MONTSAME/. A regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) was held on January 10, 2025. At the meeting, the policy advocacy, activities, and financial report for 2024, as well as the main goals, operational directions, and financial budget for 2025, were discussed and approved.
The members of the Board of Directors emphasized the need to focus more on reducing economic and business risks, ensuring financial stability, and supporting the activities of sectoral chambers in 2025.
Also, Amartugs Amgalan was elected Executive Director of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, winning 78 percent of the vote. He brings 14 years of experience to the role, having built a strong background in human resources, sales, marketing, customer service, and training consultancy.
President of the MNCCI and Chairman of the Board of Directors Tur-Od Lkhagvajav noted, "We will work to enhance the Chamber's reputation and effectiveness, providing opportunities for every entrepreneur and creating a favorable legal and operational environment.” Chairman Tur-Od also expressed a firm commitment to notably improving and developing the operations of local chambers under the MNCCI. He reiterated the Chamber's intention to align its policies with the Mongolian Government’s Regional Development Policy and develop branded products in each of the seven regions, aiming at boosting startups, and small and medium-sized enterprises within those regions.
