Mongolia Finishes Fourth at IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division III

Ulaanbaatar, May 5, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division III was held in Mexico from April 21 to May 3, 2025.
The Mongolian National Ice Hockey Team earned fourth place at the Championship. In the bronze medal match, Mongolia lost to Hong Kong with a score of 7:3. In the final game, Forwards Enkh-Amgalan Erdenejav and Chinzolboo Mishigsuren (International Masters of Sports) were named the Player of the Game.
Teams from Mongolia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Mexico, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Singapore competed in the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division III. The Mongolian Team was led by Honored Coach of Mongolia Mergen Arslan and Honored Athletes of Mongolia Mishigsuren Namjil and Otgonbayar Munkhnasan.
