Securities Trade Increases MNT 41.2 Billion

Ulaanbaatar, May 16, 2025 /MONTSAME/. In the first four months of 2025, transactions on the securities market totaled MNT 260.1 billion, an increase of MNT 25.8 billion compared with the same period in 2024.
Of this amount, MNT 68 billion came from the primary market, while MNT 192.0 billion was generated on the secondary market.
By type of instrument, 41.5 percent of turnover was in asset-backed securities, 26.8 percent in corporate bonds, 23.9 percent in corporate shares, 7.4 percent in government bonds, and 0.3 percent in investment-fund units.
The value of securities transactions reached MNT 87.5 billion, up MNT 41.2 billion from the same period of 2024.
A total of 304.2 million securities were traded, 313.2 million fewer than in the same period of 2024. Of these, 590.0 thousand were traded on the primary market and 303.6 million on the secondary market.
