Events in Ulaanbaatar:
September 15: The 2025 autumn session of the State Great Khural
(Parliament) will commence.
September 15: Parliamentary party groups meetings will be held.
September 15: The Fiscal Stability Council will hold a press conference
at the National Legal Institute regarding its evaluation of the 2026
draft budget.
September 15: An art exhibition titled “Queen Consort Dondogdulam” and
the launch of a trilogy book will take place at the Bogd Khaan Palace Museum.
September 15: International Day of Democracy will be observed.
September 15: Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Mongolia Shen
Minjuan will hold a press conference at the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia.
September 15: The Senior Citizens’ Association will hold a press
conference at the Information Center of “Zuunii Medee” newspaper, demanding an
increase in pensions.
September 15–16: The Asian Women Parliamentarians’ Group Conference will be
held in Ulaanbaatar, co-organized by the State Great Khural and Konrad Adenauer
Foundation of the Federal Republic of Germany.
September 15–16: Odd-even license plate traffic restrictions will remain in
effect in Ulaanbaatar.
September 16: Standing Committees of the State Great Khural will
convene.
September 16–19: “Inner Mongolian Cultural Days” will be held in Ulaanbaatar

September 17: The academic conference “Mongolian Ethnology: Systems,
Heritage, and Trends” will be held at the Assembly Hall of the Mongolian
Academy of Sciences.
September 17: The Mongolian–Japanese Literature Society will organize an academic conference titled “Shiba Ryotaro and Mongolia” at the National University of Mongolia.
September 17: The 15th Mongolia–China Media Forum will be held at the
Tuushin Hotel.
September 18–19: The plenary sessions of the State Great Khural will be
held.
September 18–20: The Mongolia–China Construction and Infrastructure
Investment Forum will be held at the Corporate Convention Center.
September 19–21: The 38th National Book Festival will take place at
Sukhbaatar Square.
September 20: The premiere of the documentary film “Forgotten Cities of
Chinggis Khaan” will be held at Tengis Cinema.
September 20: The U-15 National Sumo Championship, named after former
professional sumo wrestler Tokusegawa Ganbold, will take place at the Trade
Union Cultural Palace (MUESTO).
September 21: International Day of Peace will be observed.
September 21: World Alzheimer’s Day will be observed.

September 15–21: The 16th Mongolian National Sports Festival will be held in
Ulaanbaatar and Bayankhongor aimag.
