Mongolian Fencers Win Two Bronze Medals at Asian Cadet Cup 2025

Ulaanbaatar, September 22, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Mongolian young fencing athletes claimed two bronze medals at the Asian Cadet Cup 2025, held from September 18 to 22, 2025, at the Indira Gandhi International Sports Stadium in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, India.
Team Mongolia won bronze in the boys’ epee team event, while D. Mercy earned an individual bronze in the girls’ epee category.
The competition brought together 192 athletes from 17 countries, competing across individual and team epee events.
Representing Mongolia under the leadership of coach Ts. Jigjidsuren were D. Buyankhishig, D. Mercy, Ts. Undral, B. Amarzorig, N. Chinkhuslen, Ts. Temulen, and B. Chingun.
The team finished eighth overall in the standings and returned home with two medals, as well as valuable international experience.
