CPI increases
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In January 2016, the national consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.5 percent compared to the previous month, and by 1.7 percent compared to same period of the previous year.
The increase mainly represented the increases of 23.1 percent in education, 5.0 percent in clothing and footwear, of 5.0 percent in furnishings and household equipment, and of 1.9 percent in housing, water, electricity and fuels.
