VideoM.Urantsetseg to join Grand Slam
State Honored Sportswoman and World Champion M.Urantsetseg, who is world top rank judoist in the weight – 48 kg is to represent Mongolia at the IJF’s next Grand Slam, to take place in Abu Dhabi on October 28. The competition will bring together 184 athletes from 33 countries.
UN to help reducing air pollution in Mongolia
Ms Karin Hulshof, the UNICEF Regional Director for East Asia and the Pacific had a meeting with Ms D.Oyunkhorol, the Minister of Environment and Tourism. They agreed to find out new ways of reducing air pollution in Mongolia and focus bilateral cooperation on this matter.
Six boxers win gold medals
“Chinggis Khaan-Ulaanbaatar Cup 2016” international boxing competition has successfully finished in Ulaanbaatar. Mongolian athletes have won six gold medals at this international tournament introduced in the official competitions’ schedule of the -International Boxing Association or AIBA.
Turkish parliament member Mehmet Erdogan visiting Mongolia
An official visit of a Turkish delegation headed by Mr Mehmet Erdogan, the chairman of the Turkey-Mongolia Friendship Group at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey started today in Mongolia.
During its visit, the Turkish delegation will focus on bilateral relations between the parliaments of the two countries and to share views on political and socio-economic issues. The visit will finish on October 29.
