International choir festival euphoniously parades in Ulaanbaatar

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the origination of choral songs in Mongolia, “Ulaanbaatar Spring 2017” international choir festival is taking place between May 10 and 12 in Ulaanbaatar.
Over thousand singers of 24 bands, including the artists of Mongolian professional music organizations such as State Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet, Mongolian Military Song and Dance Academic Ensemble, Border Troops Song and Dance Academic Ensemble, Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture and Music and Dance College of Mongolia along with student choirs from Inner Mongolia, China and Republic of Korea.
The opening ceremony of the festival took place at the central square with a joint parade of the artists. Within the framework of Ulaanbaatar Spring 2017, children’s choir concert took place at Ulaanbaatar Ensemble, while the joint concert of the foreign bands is scheduled to take place at the Mongolian State Philharmonic Orchestra on May 11 and a gala concert at the State Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet on May 12.
