Apartments to Accommodate 5,000 Households to Be Built in Bayankhoshuu

Ulaanbaatar, April 28, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Apartments for five thousand households will be constructed under the Bayankhoshuu Housing Project until 2028.
In the first stage of the Project, apartments to accommodate 462 households will be built on an area of 45 hectares in the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th khoroos of Songinokhairkhan district. In the second stage of the Project, apartments for 2,338 households will be built on 33.8 hectares.
The Bayankhoshuu Housing Project is being implemented with loans and assistance from the Asian Development Bank and the Green Climate Fund. As a result of the construction of apartments in Bayankhoshuu, at least 5,000 households will stop burning coal for heating, leading to air pollution reduction, more comfortable living conditions for citizens, and energy and water savings., and heating, as the project solves issues of gray water, renewable energy, and green spaces.
The project to urbanize ger districts in Ulaanbaatar is one of the 24 mega projects to be implemented in the city.
