Mongolia, Qatar to Cooperate on Export of Halal-Processed Meat

Ulaanbaatar, December 18, 2025 /MONTSAME/. On the sidelines of his participation in the 11th Session of the Conference of the States Parties (COSP11) to the UN Convention against Corruption in Doha, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Munkhtushig Lkhanaajav, met with Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Dr. Ahmad Hassen Al-Hammadi, on December 16, 2025.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on
further developing bilateral relations. They agreed to promote more practical
and result-oriented cooperation in trade, economy, culture, sports,
infrastructure, air transport, environment, and agriculture, including
collaboration on exporting halal-processed meat to the State of Qatar.
Furthermore, the two sides noted that high-level reciprocal
visits would give impetus to elevating bilateral relations and cooperation to a
new level, and agreed to finalize, in the near future, the documents currently
under negotiation between the two countries.
