Mongolia to use free-of-charge field at World Expo 2017
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An area of 350 square meters will be used by Mongolia, without any charge during the World Expo 2017, scheduled from June to September in Astana city of Kazakhstan.
A contract on this matter was signed Tuesday by D.Zorigt, Mongolia’s Minister of Energy, and by Mr K.I.Koblandin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Mongolia. By the contract, Kazakhstan’s side will render some support to Mongolia in taking part in the Expo 2017.
By the governmental resolution made last October, the Energy Minister Zorigt was appointed the general commissioner of Mongolia for the Expo-2017, while the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry took a responsibility for Mongolia’s participation in the Expo.
With a theme "Future Energy” which aims to concentrate on both the future of energy, innovative, practical energy solutions, and their global impact, the Expo-2017 is expected to be attended by over 100 countries and ten international organizations and by 2-3 million visitors.
