Minister B.Batsetseg meets OSCE Special Representative

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg expressed Mongolia’s interest in working with the OSCE Office for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings in raising public awareness on human trafficking and strengthening the capacity of law enforcement organizations.
On October 6, the Deputy Minister met with Ambassador Madina Jarbussynova, Special Representative and Co-ordinator for the OSCE Combating Trafficking in Human Beings of the Organization.
The Mongolian Minister said, “Ensuring human security is one of the principles of the Mongolian National Security and an important foreign policy element of Mongolia,” citing the implementation of the 2017-2021 National Program for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, adopted by the Government.
For her part, Special Representative Madina Jarbussynova expressed her willingness to cooperate with Mongolia in preventing and combating human trafficking and training law enforcement officers.
