Winning number of MNT 500 million announced on VAT Lottery

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ During the VAT Lottery held on October 22, a winning number of MNT 500 million was announced for the first time.
The Lottery took count of lottery numbers of receipts from September 1 to September 30. On the day, 13,056 people became winners of various amount of cash prizes, including one winner of MNT 20 million, four winners of MNT 4 million, 122 winners of MNT 500 thousand, 1,184 winners of MNT 100 thousand and 117,458 winners of MNT 20 thousand.
The Lottery’s organizing committee said it wouldn’t be disclosing the name of the MNT 500 million winner to public. “First of all, we will obtain his or her consent, and secondly, we need to confirm the authenticity of the receipt,” the committee said.
Since the beginning of the VAT Lottery on January 1, 2016, when the revised VAT Law came to effect, no one has won the jackpot, cash prize of MNT 500 million. The winning number is 71742222.
Overall, four people have become winners of MNT 100 million, five people of MNT 20 million and 93 people of MNT 4 million. Last month, 27-year-old Kh.Batdulam won MNT 100 million.
