Tax on pine nuts collects MNT2 billion

Arkhangai /MONTSAME/ Arkhangai aimag has put income of MNT2 billion from tax on pine nuts harvesting to the state budget this year. Tax of MNT800 is imposed on each kilo of pine nuts for commercial or production use and MNT500 for household use.
Ihkhtamir soum of the aimag collected tax of MNT24 million, Jargalant soum--MNT56 million, Tsetserleg soum--MNT80 million, Khotont soum--208 million, Tsenkher soum--MNT46.3 million, Bulgan soum--MNT200 million, Erdenebulgan soum--MNT552 million.
Minister of Environment and Tourism gave permission to harvest pine nuts in the territory of 12 soums of the aimag.
