Minister N.Enkhbold meets South Korean Minister of Defense

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Defense N.Enkhbold met Song Young-moo South Korean Minister of Defense on December 7 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
They expressed satisfaction with development of cooperation in defense sector in many directions such as paying mutual visits, holding joint trainings and training military staffs. Also the Ministries underlined that broadening forms and types in defense collaboration is significant to bilateral relations.

During the meeting they exchanged views on the current situation on Korean peninsula. In this regard Mr.Song Young-moo requested Mongolia to fulfill its duties pursuant to actions being taken from the United Nations and support denuclearization of North Korea.
In turn Minister N.Enkhbold expressed Mongolia’s position that issues related to ensuring international peace and security, including Korean peninsula issue should be resolved through the ways of negotiation and mutual understanding.
Moreover Mr.Song Young-moo kindly received an invitation by the Mongolian Defense Minister to pay a visit to Mongolia next year at his convenience.
