TOP-100 business entities announced

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Government of Mongolia and Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry have announced the TOP-100 business entities, ranking them with their annual revenue in 2017, paid taxes to the State Budget, number of employees, net profit and asset size.
The sales revenue of the TOP-100 business entities raised by about 30 percent in 2017 in comparison with 2016 and the taxes paid to the state budget reached MNT 3.2 trillion, up by 1.9 times against the previous year. The top business entities made up some 50 percent of the state budget tax revenue and employ 80.000 people.
The award granting ceremony to the TOP-100 business entities was held on April 27. The top five companies include 'Erdenet Mining Corporation' LLC, 'Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi' LLC, 'Oyu Tolgoi' LLC, 'Khaan Bank' and 'Energy Resources' LLC. In terms of group companies 'MCS', 'Petrovis', 'Nomin', 'Shunkhlai' groups are leading the top list. 65 enterprises have been included in the 'Top 100' business entities list for the three consecutive years while 17 entities entered to the list newly.
