Foreign Minister meets Indian Ambassador and EIL delegation
PoliticsUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On April 23, Minister of Foreign
Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar received Indian Ambassador to Mongolia M.P. Singh and Director
of Commerce at Engineers India Limited (EIL) R.K.Sabharwal.
During the meeting, Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar stressed
out an importance of finalizing the agreement on the project management consultant
for construction of crude oil refinery plant in Mongolia within India’s
government loan worth USD1 billion. Moreover, the sides reached agreement on some issues which the parties had different views regarding the agreement,
and concurred to accelerate talks further.
Mr. Sabharwal noted that the talks held in Mongolia have been
fruitful while expressing his appreciation of initiatives and efforts of
Mongolian side in accelerating the action regarding the construction of crude
oil refinery.
The EIL delegation has worked in Mongolia on April 19-24.
