Temperature to rise during daytime in most parts of the country

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The National Agency of Meteorology and Environment Monitoring reports that thunderstorms are expected in some parts of the western and central aimags in the recent few days, with a rise in temperature during the day in most parts of the country.
Thunderstorms are expected in some parts of the western and central region and in the western part of the Gobi region on August 23, in some parts of western aimags and in the northern part of central aimags on August 24, in the eastern region on August 25, and in the eastern part of central aimags and in most parts of eastern aimags on August 26.
Wind speed will reach 14-16 m/sec in some parts of the country on August 23, in the Altai mountains on August 24, in most parts of the country on August 25, and in the eastern region on August 26.
In mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentei, in the basin of Tuul and Terelj rivers, the night-time temperature will range from +3 to +8 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be +16 to +21.
In the southern Gobi region, the temperature will be +13 to +18 during the night, and +26 to +31 during the day.
In other areas, the night-time temperature will be +8 to +13 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +21 to +26 degrees Celsius.
Temperature will drop once more in most parts of the country on August 25, and in the eastern region on August 26.
