Foreign Minister Battsetseg Holds Official Meeting with Secretary of State Antony Blinken

Battsetseg Batmunkh held an official meeting with Secretary of State of the
United States Antony J. Blinken on July 23, 2024, as part of her visit to the United States.
Secretary of State Blinken emphasized that the United States is proud to be a “Third Neighbor” of Mongolia, the “oasis of democracy”, and expressed delight over meeting Foreign Minister Battsetseg again in Washington D.C. since Prime Minister of
Mongolia Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai’s Official Visit to the United States in August 2024.
During the meeting, the two sides expressed their satisfaction with introducing the mechanism of the Comprehensive Strategic Dialogue between Mongolia and the U.S. to strengthen the Strategic Third Neighbor Partnership between the two countries. The two parties exchanged views on expanding cooperation in improving the economic resilience and investment environment of Mongolia, training English language teachers, promoting tourism and people exchanges, and collaborating on critical minerals, energy, and urban development.
Secretary of State of the United States Antony J. Blinken will pay an Official Visit to Mongolia on August 1, 2024, at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh, reported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
