Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ According to report of the Bank of Mongolia, money supply (M2) reached MNT 9.9 trillion by the end of September, decreased by 25.6 billion Togrog or 0.3 percent over the previous month and by 135.6 billion Togrog or 1.3  percent compared to the same period of 2014.

At the end of last month, currency issued in circulation reached MNT 767.9 billion, decreased by 6.5 billion Togrog or 0.8 percent against the previous month and by 59.4 billion Togrog or 7.2 percent compared to the end of September 2014.

Loans outstanding amounted to MNT 11.9 trillion, by the same period, increased by 97.7 billion Togrog or 0.8 percent compared to August, decreased by 673.1 billion Togrog or 5.3 percent against the same period of the previous year.

Principals in arrears reached MNT 828.7 billion, increased by 48.3 billion Togrog or 6.2 percent from that of August, and by 364.1 billion Togrog or 78.4 percent compared to the same period of 2014.

The non-performing loans in the bank system reached MNT 836.8 billion, decreased by 28.6 billion Togrog or 3.3 percent against the previous month, and increased by 246.4 billion Togrog or 41.7 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

In the first nine months of 2015, 24.8 million shares were traded in the stock market, valued MNT 758.2 billion. Shares trading increased by 620.3 billion Togrog or 5.5 times and shares decreased by 16.1 million or 39.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
