Omnogobi had the "hottest" November
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology reports that the maximum precipitation in November was recorded as 27.6mm in Zavkhan aimag’s Bayantes soum.
Omnogobi aimag’s Dalanzadgad soum had the highest air temperature (+18.9°C), whereas Zavkhan aimag’s Otgon soum the lowest (-44.0°C) in November.
In the period, over 10 air quality monitoring stations measured that an average daily concentration of nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide exceeded 14-30 times, dust content with less than 2.5 micron exceeded 23-30 times, and dust content with less than 10 micron in the atmosphere of Ulaanbaatar exceeded the maximum acceptable level 13-30 times.
