A girl donates 17 million Togrog from her concerts
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A pupil from Khentii aimag’s Kherlen soum D.Ukhaanzaya collected 17 million Togrog and has donated all the money to humanitarian activities.
Talented for singing, dancing and even contortion girl earned the money from her concerts and gave them to hospitals, maternity house and other socially-beneficial activities.
Her interview was published Thursday on the news.mn website. D.Ukhaanzaya said she had started her first humanitarian actions when her mother told her about poor conditions in the aimag's maternity hospital. She staged her first charity concert in 2013, and then presented money collected to a care house. Money from the second concert in Khentii aimag was donated to this province's central hospital to renovate its beds.
Until today, Ukhaanzaya has staged eight concerts, collecting MNT 17 million. She said she is very happy with helping others.
For her brilliant humanitarian actions, Ukhaanzaya received a prize called “Ene tsagiin egel baatar” /Ordinary Hero of present time/ and became the Top Kid of Mongolia in 2014.
