BoM holds FX auction
Daily FinanceUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the Foreign Exchange Auction held Tuesday, the Bank of Mongolia (BoM) received bid offers of USD 28.4 million between the rates of MNT 1996.50-1999.21 and CNY 2.0 million in a rate of MNT 302.50. The BoM accepted the offers and sold USD 11.0 million in a rate with MNT 1998.81.
The bank received MNT swap agreement bid offers equivalent to USD 9.0 million, USD swap agreement ask offers equivalent to USD 20.0 million and CNY swap agreement extending bid offers of 20.0 million from local commercial banks and accepted the offers.
