Cabinet meeting in brief
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its meeting on Monday, the cabinet authorized the Investment Authority to establish a concession contract with the “Barrun Mongol Energy” LLC for implementing a project on erecting a power plant and overhead electric lines in Uvs aimag.
This concession will be established by a form of working out graphics-financing-constructing-utilizing-transferring. An obligation was given to D.Erdenebat, the Minister of Industry, to manage an establishment of the concession.
- The cabinet discussed and backed draft amendments to parliamentary resolutions on supporting national producers and measures for augmenting job places. The drafts will be submitted to parliament.
- The cabinet approved a rule on raising a capital for developing industry, its utilization and monitoring.
- The cabinet backed draft credit agreements to be established between the government of Mongolia and the Export-Import Bank of South Korea within an intergovernmental general agreement on receiving loans from the Cooperation Fund for Economic Development between 2011 and 2018 for some projects. A related order of Prime Minister will be issued to authorize the Finance Minister B.Bolor to sign the agreements.
- The Deputy Premier of Belarus V.I.Semashko will visit Mongolia on March 16-19, 2016. The cabinet discussed a draft directive for a Mongolian side to be maintained during the forthcoming visit.
- The cabinet approved a directive for a Mongolian delegation to take part in the 12th Mongolia-UK roundtable meeting to be held on March 11 in London.
- List of works under concession contracts added some projects on establishing a regional center of ATC and on construction of hangars.
