Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Construction for the New Ulaanbaatar International Airport (NUBIA) have been underway in the 1,200 hectares of area of Khushig Valley, Sergelen soum of Tov (Central) aimag. In the necessity to plan building satellite city and its infrastructure adjacent to the new airport, the state has taken a 12,084.9 hectares of area into reserve, in accordance with a government resolution issued in 2010.

Considering the possibilities that land problems might occur during implementations of planned infrastructure developments such as mixed transport logistic center and Bogdkhan railroad due to the mountainous northern part of the reserved land, the government decided to change the geographic coordination of 12,084.9 ha reservation.

No selling, occupying or operating of land are allowed in this reserved area. Some land owners will be compensated for the loss of lands due to this change.
