Import tax on diesel fuel to zero at some borders checkpoints
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In order to make sure the 2016 spring sowing campaign is carried out within a technological period, the cabinet took a decision on Monday to zero import excise tax on 6.5 thousand tons of diesel fuel to be passed through the Sukhbaatar and Ereentsav border checkpoints. The tax exemption period will last until June 20, 2016.
The Minister of Food and Agriculture R.Burmaa is obliged to organize works of delivering the fuel to contracted land farming companies and farmers and to control the actions.
It is expected that this measure will minimize the cost of productions by approximately MNT 190 and will improve finance potential of entities. Domestic supply of wheat and flour is expected to be fully ensured in 2016-2017 owing to the governmental decision.
