WeatherUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Slight snowfall is expected in most parts of western and central regions on the 7th, in eastern half of the territory on the 8th, in some region on the 9th, and in northern part of western provinces on the 10th.
Winds will get stronger in western half of the territory on the 7th and in most regions on the 8-10th, reaching 14-16 m/sec and forming blizzards. The cold will not garner strength until January 8-10.
The nighttime temperature in the depressions of Lake Uvs and Darkhad, in the valley of rivers Ider and Tes, banks of Orkhon-Selenge, Kharaa, Eroo, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, Ulz and Khalkh will be -38-33 Celsius and the daytime, -25-20 Celsius.
In the depression of Great Lakes, Khuren Belchir, mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentii, valley of Eg river, and the steppes of Dornod and Dariganga, the nighttime temperature will be -28-23, and the daytime, -18-13.
In southern part of the Gobi, the nighttime temperature will be -19-14, and the daytime, -10-5.
In other regions, the nighttime temperature will be -25-20, and the daytime, -14-9 Celsius.
