Teachers from five countries discuss foreign language and country studies

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Over 30 representatives from Mongolia, Germany, Russia, Japan and China participated in the scientific conference themed ‘Foreign language, Country Studies: training and translation’, which took place in the Mongolian National University of Education (MNUE) on April 6-7.
The scientific conference was co-organized by the MNUE, School of Humanities and Social Sciences of the MNUE, Buryat State University and Inner Mongolian Normal University.
Associate Professor of Buryat State University Matveeva Dora Gonchikovna said, "English is a main global communication tool. The scientific conference is allowing English teachers to share their experiences and learn from each other. Additionally, the main result of the conference is that teachers are exchanging views on how to give English lesson effectively to learners."
Opening ceremony was held with participation of Director of SHSC of the MNUE J.Batbaatar, Vice-President of Research of the MNUE D.Narantsetseg, Head of Foreign Language Department of Buryat State University Burtseva Elvira Vitalyevna, teachers and students.
During the scientific conference, over 30 presentations were delivered and discussed by the participants. The organizers agreed to expand the scope of the conference in the coming years. Next year, the conference will be organized at Buryat State University and Inner Mongolian Normal University.
