Ballet dancer M.Telmen wins 1st place at international ballet competition

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Ballet dancer M.Telmen has competed in the New York World Ballet Grand Prix, which was held between May 30 to June 2. Representing Mongolia in the senior division, he won the gold medal from the prestigious international ballet competition.
Organized in 18 cities in 10 countries through the year, it is the first time for a Mongolian ballet dancer to win a medal from the competition. He became the winner of a scholarship worth USD 60 thousand and will be coming back to Mongolia on June 12.
M.Telmen graduated from the State Conservatory in 2017, and has been studying at the Kirov Academy of Ballet with a full scholarship for two years.
