Foreign Minister receives Non-resident Ambassador of Thailand

/MONTSAME/. On April 26, Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg
received Non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the
Kingdom of Thailand to Mongolia Atthayut Srisamut.
Noting that the
friendly relations between Mongolia and Thailand have been expanding in recent
years, Minister B.Battsetseg stressed the importance of further developing
mutually beneficial trade, investment and economic by using the mechanism of
the Cooperation Council between the two governments.
Furthermore, she
requested the Ambassador to pay attention on finalizing the ‘Five-Year
Plan for Cooperation between Mongolia and Thailand’ and developing tourism, one
of the priority areas of cooperation between the two countries.
Ambassador Atthayut
Srisamut noted that Mongolia and Thailand have been actively cooperating in the
framework of the United Nations and other international organizations, and
expressed willingness to further enrich bilateral cooperation with
economic content and expand it in the fields of culture, education and tourism.
