“Tuin River Frost 2023” Winter Festival

Bayankhongor, February 13, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The
“Tuin River Frost 2023” Winter Festival which had been interrupted due to the
Covid-19 pandemic was widely held in Bayankhongor aimag for the seventh time.
The representatives of the Government, non-Government
organizations, and private sectors, and citizens of 20 soums participated in and
enjoyed the festival held on February 11 and 12.
During the “Tuin River Frost 2023” Winter Festival, the
initiators organized the competitions in seven categories. The winners were
selected from each category and awarded.
The winter festival included the following events:
- Ice
knucklebone shooting
- Ice
Archery
- Contest
of the best couple wearing traditional Mongolian attire
- Ice
Skating
- Ice Drift
In addition to these events, national heritage-promoting
programs, such as the “Made in Bayankhongor” trade, horse and camel riding, and
photo services, were featured.
