Mongolian Students to Study in Czech with Scholarship

Ulaanbaatar, April 18, 2023 /MONTSAME/. Under the implementation of the “President’s Scholar–2100" Scholarship Program initiated by President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, every year up to 60 students will study at universities of the Czech Republic in the fields of technology, agriculture, biotechnology, and cyber security.


Today a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education and Science of Mongolia and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic has been signed by Deputy Ministers G. Ganbayar and Jaroslav Miller, who is on a visit to Mongolia.

 

“Signing the Memorandum of Understanding is of momentous significance to successfully implement the "President's Scholar-2100" and increase the number of students in Europe. The cooperation plays an important role not only in educating students but also fostering traditional relations between the two countries,” emphasized Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Mongolia E. Odbayar. 


In addition, as part of the Scholarship Program, scholarship cooperation with universities of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of France, the Republic of Austria, and Australia have been developing.
