Mongolian Students Win “Best New Team” Award at International Law Competition

Ulaanbaatar, April 18, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The
team of the National University of Mongolia (NUM) competed in the prestigious
Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, which was held in Washington
DC, USA on April 9-15, 2023. This competition is renowned for the oldest
and largest international moot competition, drawing participants from over 700 law schools in more than 90 countries.
The team Mongolia won the "Best New Team"
Award in recognition of their outstanding performance and commendable efforts.
The team was composed of five students, all majoring
in International Law, namely B. Ariunzaya, O. Namuunbayar, S. Bilegt-Ochir, G.
Margad, and B. Lkhagvajargal. They were guided and coached by M. Uyanga, Ph.D., Associate Professor, and Scientific Secretary of the School of Law of the
NUM.
