The Government of Mongolia Designates 2025 as the Year to Resolve Ulaanbaatar City's Pressing Issues

Ulaanbaatar, December 26, 2024 /MONTSAME/. During its regular session on December 25, 2024, the Cabinet of Mongolia issued a Resolution on Designating 2025 as the "Year to Resolve Ulaanbaatar City's Pressing Issues and Intensifying Constructions."
Relevant officials were assigned to formulate work plans and present them to the Cabinet by January 2025, ensuring cross-sectoral coordination. The Cabinet members were also charged with providing all-around support for projects and measures to be implemented under the "Year to Resolve Ulaanbaatar City's Pressing Issues and Intensifying Constructions."
In connection with the adoption of the Resolution, the authorities of all state and local legal bodies were instructed to spend the tax relief, provided according to the Law on Corporate Income Tax within the framework of social responsibility as stated in relevant laws and regulations.
Starting in 2025, it is necessary to intensify a green transition in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar, introduce energy-efficient green technologies, support environmentally friendly projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduce air, soil, and environmental pollution, improve energy efficiency, and widely use clean energy sources. To implement the plans, necessary actions, including involving banks and financial institutions, cooperation with international organizations, and promotion of environmentally friendly and sustainable development, will be taken.
