Mongolian Ambassador Meets Chairman of Korea-Mongolia Parliamentary Group

Ulaanbaatar, August 15, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Korea, Sukhbold Sukhee, met with Member of the National Assembly and Chairman of the Korea–Mongolia Parliamentary Group, Jin Seong-jun, on August 11, 2025.


During the meeting, Ambassador Sukhbold Sukhee requested support in addressing issues such as protecting the legitimate rights of Mongolian citizens living and working in the Republic of Korea, and creating a legal framework for exemption from health visa requirements through strengthened cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries.


Chairman of the Korea–Mongolia Parliamentary Group, Jin Seong-jun, acknowledged the importance of resolving the issues raised and expressed his full support for future efforts. In addition, both sides exchanged views on activities organized in the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, as well as the progress of the “Thermal Power Plants in the Centers of 10 Aimags” project, implemented under the Official Development Assistance of the Government of the Republic of Korea, agreeing to work closely with relevant organizations to ensure concrete progress, according to the Embassy of Mongolia in Seoul.
