The Second Meeting of the National Committee for the Preparation
of the National Team for the "Paris-2024" Olympic and Paralympic
Games took place on April 11, 2024. Currently, Mongolian athletes have secured
10 Olympic and 4 Paralympic qualifications. For the upcoming Olympics, Mongolia
has set a target to attain 45 qualifications in 12 sports and earn 4-5 medals.
Additionally, Mongolia aims at claiming 12 qualifications in seven categories
and win 2-3 medals at the Paralympics. To accomplish the goal, a dedicated team
was formed, comprising specialized units in sports medicine, training,
psychology, and nutrition. The team provides science-based professional
assistance to athletes and coaches of the National Team.
Furthermore, the "Mongolian House" Project will be
implemented during the Olympic Games to introduce the "GO MONGOLIA"
brand internationally. The Project will promote Mongolia's nomadic culture, art,
traditional cuisine, and hospitality worldwide.
This initiative will also bolster the Mongolian Olympism movement, promoting it
to the global community and supporting the Mongolian athletes participating in
the Olympics. "Mongolian House" will be open from July 27, 2024, to
August 11, 2024, operating from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm, in an area of 922 square
meters at the "La Villette" Park in Paris.
