Mongolian Delegation Takes Part in Boao Forum for Asia

Ulaanbaatar, March 26, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Mongolian delegation led by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development of Mongolia Gantumur Luvsannyam is participating in the Boao Forum for Asia, which is being held in Boao, Hainan Province, China, on March 25-28, 2025.
On the sidelines of the Forum, Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Ding Xuexiang and First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development of Mongolia Gantumur Luvsannyam held an official meeting. Deputy Prime Minister Gantumur expressed aspiration to develop clear and mutually supportive relations between the two countries. The Deputy Prime Minister proposed cooperation in three areas, according to the Ministry of Economy and Development of Mongolia.
Mr. Gantumur specifically proposed cooperation in enhancing border connectivity, ensuring export stability, accelerating the trilateral economic corridor project, and advancing the energy and industrial sectors, as well as artificial intelligence and science parks.
Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Ding Xuexiang welcomed the suggestions, noting that all initiatives that benefit the people of the two countries will be supported. Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang also expressed commitment to working together for green development, using the economic advantages of the neighboring countries.
